OXBOW PUBLIC MARKET, NAPA
I discovered this awesome indoor market in Napa from a former work colleague a few years back. Located in the Napa’s Oxbow District, it boasts of a diverse local wine, organic produce vendors, artisan cafes, and other food products. Oxbow supports the local farm growers within its community as well as owner-operated businesses.
Please note that this is not a sponsored post. I just want to support local businesses in the SF Bay Area and to share the wonderful experiences I’ve had at one of the numerous places to visit here at “my own backyard.” I hope that my photos will further entice you to experience this awesome place firsthand, once travel is possible again. It will not disappoint.
The Oxbow Public Market address:
610 & 644 First Street
Napa, CA 94559 (707) 226-2579
Meantime, here is a sneak peek video.
It is partly indoors with an outside deck seating by the Napa River. How cool is that! Their business hours are from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM and even longer on Fridays; open seven days a week. The Stay Home health order has been lifted so that patio seating is now available as well as curbside pickup. Per the Market’s website, its aim is “to create an atmosphere within the Oxbow Public Market to improve the local food culture through education, community outreach and support of local businesses and farms.” Source: https://oxbowpublicmarket.com/about-oxbow-public-market/

ANETTE’S CHOCOLATES

I took my daughter to Oxbow sometime ago and we were instantly drawn to this decadent chocolicious shop. Such delectable treats artfully showcased to whet your appetite. Of course, we bought some chocolates but it was a while back so that I don’t recall much. I do know though that they were delicious. I’ll be going back for more.
Anette’s Chocolates in Napa Valley opened its doors in December of 1991. It is owned by siblings, Anette and Brent, and Mary Stornetta. Their products include caramels, truffles, confections, brittles, dessert sauces, apart from the boxed classics. They use the finest ingredients and source them locally whenever possible.
